Ischgl is a great experience for the whole family in summer. On Mt Idalp, at 2,320 metres above sea level, the Vider Truja adventure park – which is free to enter – features bouldering towers, trampolines, slacklines, a Kneipp facility, a sand play area, a barbecue area, and two natural ponds with a raft. In the valley, there are several children’s play areas to enjoy, and the many family-friendly walking trails around Ischgl invite even the youngest visitors to explore. A summer holiday in Ischgl with the children means trying something new every day and feeling blissfully tired every evening.

A summer holiday in Ischgl is just as tempting as a winter one: the Silvretta Therme Ischgl is open all year round and is just 500 metres from Hotel Ferienglück. The highlights in Ischgl after hiking or biking the whole day are:

What is the Silvretta Card Premium and who gets it free of charge in the summer?

The Silvretta Card Premium offers unlimited use of all cable cars in Paznaun, free travel on many public transport services, and discounts at numerous leisure facilities and activities. Guests staying at Hotel Ferienglück receive the card free of charge as part of their stay during the summer. Hotel Alpenland, on the other hand, is only open in winter and therefore does not offer the Silvretta Card Premium.

Does Hotel Ferienglück offer a restaurant service in the summer?

Yes, on the sun terrace at Hotel Ferienglück, we serve à la carte dishes, homemade cakes and strudel, and ice cream every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. We are closed on Tuesdays. The offer is also open to day visitors.

Absolutely. While Ischgl is known in winter as one of the Alps’ major skiing destinations, in summer the village offers high-Alpine scenery, first-class trails, international sporting events such as the E-Bike World Championships and Ironbike, as well as a vibrant events scene featuring concerts and festivals. The Silvretta Card Premium opens the door to almost everything the Paznaun region has to offer.
